Arabic Language

Did you know that Arabic is one of the 6 off icial languages of the United Nations, and the official language in 22 Arab countries?

Arab countries are religiously and ethnically diverse with Islam being the dominant religion in most countries. The language spoken is Arabic, a language of a rich culture and civilization dating back many centuries. In fact, algebra, cotton, coffee, jasmine and lemon all originated from the Arabs!

The Arab countries are also a huge export market for goods and services. Surprisingly, while the demand for Arabic speakers is very high, there is a low supply in the Western world. The increasing importance of the Middle East in international affairs makes it obvious that people who know Arabic would be ideal candidates in sectors like journalism, business, education, politics, finance, consulting and translation services. Knowing Arabic can boost your travel experiences throughout the Middle East.
